A collection of images of historic wooden churches on Chiloe Island, Chile. The churches were built by Catholic priests in the 1700-1800's in Chilota-style architecture of native woods to withstand the damp, rainy climate on Chiloe. Sixteen of the churches are now UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
