These stucco frets flanking the stairway of Structure 195, the Palace of the Racoqui or House of the Great Lord, in the pre-Hispanic Zapotec ruins of Lambityeco in the valley of Oaxaca, Mexico, are oldest known examples of fret work in the Oaxaca Valley.
