The main entrance into the Nunnery Quadrangle is through a corbel arch doorway in the center of the south building in the pre-Hispanic Mayan ruins of Uxmal, Mexico. Behind is the Palace of the Governors, the House of the Turtles and the Macaw Temple on the Great Pyramid.
