The pre-Hispanic indigenous Native American rock art petrogplyphs of stylized anthropomorphic human figures and animals on the Butler Wash Panel at the mouth Butler Wash on the San Juan River, Utah, USA.  Some more recent  petroglyphs depict men on horseback.  Horses were introduced in the area in the 1600's.
