Alcoves forming by erosion in the Entrada sandstone at the Navajo Rocks, near Moab, Utah. Arches and alcoves form in the sandstone, beginning at the junction between the upper Slick Rock Entrada and the lower Dewey Bridge member of the Entrada sandstone.
