The narrow slot canyon called the Siq leads to the ruins of the Nabataean city of Petra in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Petra Archeological Park is a Jordanian National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the foreground is some of the original flagstone paving, with water channels carved in the canyon wall on both sides.
