The Pomier Caves are a series of 55 caves north of San Cristobal in the Dominican Republic.  They contain over 6000 drawings, pictographs, and petroglyphs of the Pre-Columbian Taino, Caribe, and Igneri cutlures.  It is the largest oncentration of ancient rock art in all the Caribbean Basin.  Some of the paintings are up to 2000 years old.
