The Dome of the Chain, Qubat es-Silsila, is located on the east side of the Dome of the Rock shrine and was built in the 6th or 7th Century A.D., before the construction of the shrine. The Old City of Jerusalem and its Walls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
