A forest of columnar Mexican Organ Pipe Cactus, Stenocereus griseus, known locally as yatu, along Boka Ascension, an inlet from the Caribbean Sea on the northwest side of the island of Curacao. It is a popular place for spotting sea turtles. At left is a large piece of driftwood - a rainforest tree trunk washed into the sea from South America. At right is a large pile of plastic and trash that has washed in from the ocean.
